APOKS is an independent, non-profit organization, founded in 2017. The main goal of the organization is to strive for solutions, education and sharing of information in the field of optimization of energy and combustion processes. We believe that with the right design and implementation, negative effects on air quality and the environment can be significantly eliminated. In 2021, APOKS founded the informal platform HYDROGEN group, which set itself the goal of creating know-how in the field of using hydrogen or in general fuels with admixture of hydrogen, primarily in the area of building heating.
We are a professional platform dedicated to enhancing the quality, safety, and sustainability of combustion systems in the Czech Republic. We bring together leading experts in chimney technology, heating, combustion, legislation, and technical standards. Our mission is to support the development of modern heating and flue gas technologies, provide expert education, and actively contribute to shaping the regulatory environment in the field of energy and emissions. We organize professional seminars, publish technical materials, and cooperate with government bodies, vocational schools, and professional associations. APOKS represents quality, innovation, and the connection between practical experience and scientific research in the fields of heat and combustion systems.
Hydrogen & the Future of Energy
APOKS is also a key driver of hydrogen technology development in the building sector. We organize the H2 HEATING conference, coordinate pilot hydrogen heating projects (such as the H2 House), and contribute to the development of educational programs for technicians and municipalities. Our goal is to bring safe, economically viable, and technically sound hydrogen solutions into real-life applications – from system design to policy recommendations.
For international partners, we offer representation on the Czech market, assistance with local deployment, promotional opportunities through conferences and exhibitions, and access to a robust network of public, academic, and industrial stakeholders. APOKS acts as a trusted and competent bridge between innovative hydrogen technologies and their practical implementation in Central Europe.
